Technology Translation & Impact – A Special Visit to The Westmead Institute for Medical Research

Way In Network was delighted to visit the Westmead Institute for Medical Research (WIMR) and gain a closer insight into the groundbreaking research being carried out by the dedicated scientists and researchers at the Institute.

The visit provided our members with a unique opportunity to step inside the laboratories and discover the advanced technologies and innovative equipment used by researchers every day to better understand diseases and develop new approaches that can improve patient outcomes.

We were truly inspired by the passion, dedication and expertise of the WIMR team. Throughout the tour, our members engaged in meaningful conversations, asked many questions and gained a deeper appreciation of how scientific discoveries move from research concepts into real-world impact.

The morning concluded with a wonderful lunch, where members had the opportunity to connect with the WIMR team, exchange stories and learn more about the people behind the important work happening at the Institute.
