The Body as an Emotional Garden | Aromatherapy Wellness Workshop

In our busy lives, we often spend so much time caring for others that we forget to listen to ourselves. Stress can gradually build up, emotions can become difficult to manage, and our bodies may quietly send us signals that we need to slow down and take care of ourselves.

On 6 October 2026, CanRevive and Way In Network co-hosted a special “The Body as an Emotional Garden” Aromatherapy Wellness Workshop, presented by international aromatherapist Erosia.

The workshop provided a warm and relaxing space for women to explore the connection between emotions and physical wellbeing. Through aromatherapy, tea and sharing, as well as head and foot massage experiences, participants were introduced to practical ways to relieve stress and bring greater balance into their everyday lives.

Erosia also shared four real-life cases from her professional experience, helping participants better understand how emotional stress can manifest through the body and how paying attention to these signals can support greater self-awareness and wellbeing.

✨ Key areas explored during the workshop included:

  • Building inner resilience and emotional strength
  • Understanding the connection between emotions and the body
  • Learning practical techniques to manage and release stress
  • Exploring the healing wisdom of natural plants and aromatherapy
  • Experiencing head and foot massage for relaxation
  • Sharing experiences and connecting with like-minded women over tea

The workshop reflects Way In Network’s ongoing commitment to promoting women’s wellbeing, self-care and community connection.

Way In Network has been a long-standing supporter of CanRevive, and this special workshop was also an opportunity to continue strengthening our connection with the organisation and its community work.

Special thanks to Eric Yang for organising and supporting this meaningful aromatherapy session, giving women an opportunity to better understand their bodies and emotions while learning practical ways to care for their mental and physical wellbeing.

The philosophy of “helping others while helping ourselves” is an important part of community connection. When we take better care of ourselves and maintain our own wellbeing, we are also better able to support our families, friends and the wider community.

It was a beautiful afternoon of learning, sharing, relaxation and sisterhood. Through the gentle fragrance of essential oils, meaningful conversations and moments of self-care, participants were reminded that looking after ourselves is not a luxury — it is an important part of living a healthy and balanced life.

🌸 May every woman remember to make time for herself, listen to her body, nurture her emotions and allow her inner strength to bloom.
