Di (Shelly) Sun

Shelly Sun (孙迪) is the Principal Solicitor and Founder of Sunsolis Legal, a multi-office law practice with over 15 solicitors across New South Wales and Queensland. Under her leadership, the firm has successfully advised on more than 1500 matters annually spanning immigration, family law, commercial disputes, criminal law, and major property projects with developers such as Lendlease, Mirvac, and Frasers.
Deeply committed to fostering social cohesion and empowering culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities, Shelly also serves as the Charter President of the Lions Club of Sydney Sunny, an organisation uniting professionals and international students through service initiatives in environment, youth leadership, diabetes awareness, and disaster relief. She is the President of the Australia Chinese Table Tennis Lovers Association, creating platforms for sport, cultural exchange, and community connection.
Shelly holds multiple degrees from the University of New South Wales (UNSW), including a Juris Doctor, Master of Laws, and a Master of Arts in Translation and Interpreting. She has been recognised as a participant in the William Ah Ket Leadership Program (2025 cohort) and actively contributes to scholarship, research, and dialogue on cross-border law and leadership.
As Public Officer of the Way In Network 2025-2027 Committee, Shelly brings her professional expertise, governance experience, and passion for cultural exchange to support the Network’s mission of empowering women, strengthening community ties, and promoting multicultural leadership in Australia.
