Women Empowerment Series at Auspicious Harmony Vihara
On 21 June 2026, the Way In Network Women Empowerment Series held a beautifully curated and intimate gathering at the Auspicious Harmony Vihara (吉祥精舍), generously offered by our member Maggie Lo. The event was under the theme “Balance · Mindfulness · Harmony.”
The exclusive afternoon welcomed a small group of members and friends, creating a warm and peaceful environment for learning, sharing, and connection. Guests were invited to enjoy a relaxing afternoon tea session while engaging in meaningful conversations and sisterhood bonding.
A highlight of the program was Maggie Lo’s heartfelt sharing on Buddhist philosophy and her personal experiences in meditation practice. Her reflections inspired participants to embrace mindfulness and inner balance in daily life.
Attendees also participated in a calming meditation session, followed by a Chinese calligraphy experience. Many sisters joyfully explored the art of brush and ink, expressing creativity while enjoying a moment of stillness and focus. The atmosphere was filled with serenity, laughter, and cultural appreciation.
A special moment of the afternoon was contributed by Lisa, who brought a beautifully cultivated orchid grown under her own care. The elegant orchid added a refined natural beauty to the gathering and symbolised grace, resilience, and feminine strength. It was warmly appreciated by all participants.
Throughout the event, many precious moments were captured as sisters engaged in meditation, calligraphy, and heartfelt conversation. The presence of a professional photographer helped preserve these memories, with participants also dressing up for beautiful portrait and group photographs.
Special appreciation goes to Maggie Li, an Australian fine-art portrait photographer, who generously dedicated her time and artistic talent to document the event. She beautifully captured the essence of the gathering with wonderful photos and video.
The event concluded with gratitude and appreciation from all attendees, who expressed how meaningful and refreshing the experience had been. It was truly an afternoon that nurtured the mind, uplifted the spirit, and strengthened sisterhood connections.

The Way In Network Women Empowerment Series hosted an informative seminar on the 2026 Federal Budget on 25 May 2026 at Garden Palace Haymarket. Attendees had the valuable opportunity to hear expert insights from Raymond Chan, Head of Asian Desk & Private Client Adviser at Morgans, on the latest economic outlook, investment opportunities, and financial impacts for both individuals and businesses.
The evening was both insightful and rewarding, with attendees gaining a deeper understanding of the changing economic landscape and practical financial strategies for the future. The engaging discussions and professional analysis provided valuable guidance for business owners, professionals, and families alike.
